wow I think some of you guys got me beat by a longslide but this is my "ghetto pc"

I had a dead micro atx powersuply on it that I rewired to work with a regular atx, did the pin jump mod on it bumping the celeron m 1.4 to like 1.7 I think and replaced the fan with a slightly larger one. In this picture it was accually runing F@H on a linux live distro (slax) booting from the usb drive.

Aaaah, I love the smell of ghetto in the morning!
    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.

Hello, I´m new at this forum. I want to do a guetto mod, in particular a lanbox. The motherboard is an ATX, a P5B. I want to put the Noctua NH-C12P with a Noctua Fan, the problem´s I need a alu case where the Noctua fit. The alu case is this:

old server case. converted AT to ATX case. biggest case with the least amount of stuff ever. I was happy how my erector set hdd mounts turned out. The bolt holes line up perfectly with the stacked hdds. "Sorry son, daddy needs to mount some hdds."

    Thanks

SCSI is great, its like having the power of a freight train in your computer Sure it might not be as "fast" as SATA, but it takes it all back in other ways And you just cant beat those 15K seek times, not even the raptors can compete with that

Only thing is that since my SCSI card is on the PCI bus I am limited to the 133MB (~110MB real) transfer rates

I am making a worklog for the thing, so if anyone is interested, check out diskusjon.no - Project SpaceMonkey

here is a temperature sensor mod i did with a water sensor for aquariums found at local fish store..the goal is to take the lcd screen and use it as a readout for an inline temperature sensor connected to my pump top, which is pumping out of a highly modified honda radiator. I also wanted to set it up as a two pin connector on the LCD readout so that i could switch between the inline sensor, an ambient sensor, and the sensor that came with the device itself, so that i could dump it into the rad and see how accurate that inline sensor is. I modified some fan headers to set that up. Works beautifully for the eight bucks the thing cost me
I have since used shrink tubing to clean up that ugly wiring and it looks much cleaner LOL
