I could buy the Dingoo A380 with 2 wireless F-16 controllers and 2 X SanDisk Class 4 32GB MicroSD cards shipped from China for €172. That's a lot cheaper than the OpenPandora.
The firmware on the Dingoo A380 is Dingux (Linux) and can easily be modified.
Yeah, but the Dingo performs sluggishly with 3D games.

I knew that before I bought it. It doesn't matter for me. I'm happy that I can play the MAME, CPS1, CPS2 and NEO-GEO games on a handheld console.
I cannot install INTEL RST 11.x series. I see SoLoR having 11.5.0.1109 but cannot install them having the message
'The Computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software'
I have 10.8.0.1003 on Windows 7 x64

Its awsome that this thread is still alive, tho barely
Ive gotten 4 or 5 solid years out of my board, its been good to me
On a side note I have to kick the crap out of my 9550 with vtt to get it to run at 470fsb. Im at work right now, but Im pretty sure its getting close to 1.55v, with droop its showing 1.45v, nb v is sitting at 1.55v, and vcore is low at 1.35v. Im running the 266 strap, mems are doing good at 2.14v. Id have to be at home to see exactly what I have for settings, its been a few months since Ive done anything to it heheh.
I just kinda wish I had the ddr3 version since I have so much of it

EVGA RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra | WD SN850 1TB, SN750 1TB
EVGA 750w G+ SuperNova | Fractal Torrent Compact RGB
Question still here: how you managed to install 11.x (11.1 in your case)? I get 'The Computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software' when running the exe.
Unless you did manually inf installation

SoLoR is there enough space so that the hyper sli key can be placed into the bios ?
Just upgraded to 470 Sli using hyper Sli and wondered if it could be fitted in ?
cheers
In Creative panel i cannot find any option to have the front jack to be individual (the one connected to the front panel).
Soundmax has such option and when enabled it and restart then in "Sounds" you can see Default Communication device HD Headphones.
So in that configuration you can have different sound level than from back panel.
Edit: found newer drivers that can separate the front panel sound (headphones)

Hi, I have a Maximus Formula soft modded to Rampage Formula with BIOS 0902 currently.
Portal 2 causes my system to hardlock with sound looping.
When rebooting Windows it lists hardware ID 18 and WHEA error in event viewer...
The system passes Memtest86+ and can do 500 passes of LinX, and it is otherwise fully stable.Code:A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error Processor APIC ID: 0
I am considering trying one of the modded BIOS files but I could not find any info on what is different in them?
I.e. what differentiates 1002b-R0 > R4? http://hotfix.chris123nt.com/Asus.Ra...mula/Bios.MOD/
My system has 4x2GB OCZ PC2-6400 2N800SR2G memory modules
Intel Xeon X3370 Yorkfield CPU (45nm, 12MB L2)
Asus 8800GTS 512MB VGA
Auzentech X-Meridian soundcard (C-Media 8788 based)
LSI 8704ELP RAID Controller

Hello,
can anyone reup please the 1002r4?
All Links are down .
I can't believe this thread is still alive. My RF rig is now an auxiliary rig. Apart from the LCD poster (which died) I have still not had any problems with it whatsoever after all these years.
Still my Rig is in signature

Yo Alien Grey,
it is amazing that you are still getting around with your RF. I will never forget the way how you made ASUS creating a new BIOS - even when ASUS said RF is an eol-product.
The BIOS 1002b-R0>R4 you are reporting about seams to be again a newer BIOS-version, isn't it? How did you manage to get this one?
Did you make peace with ASUS?

Hi Fritz,
I only use my PC for playing music and run BOINC so I don't need a new one. The BIOS that we're talking about is a modded BIOS 0001 from SoLoR. It's been running stable and without issues all these time with BIOS 1002b-R4.
I spend most of my free time with my retro gaming console. It's the same old story. No support from the manufacture and almost no support from the community. So what do you do?
You make your own custom firmware. You should check it out. You might be interested and find the old Alien Grey from back in those days.
Anyway it's good to be around here sometimes to check out how you guys are doing.

Hi Alien,
isn't it a shame for ASUS that some private programmer had to build up a stable BIOS but ASUS? That's incredible!
I will check out your Dingoonity. Thanks for it.
Hi greg.m
I am really missing our good old days we had together with the X48 as well as you mate. Right now I am getting along with my Gigabyte pretty well.
Hope you guys are having fun and doing well! You are excellent fellows.
