DFI 965-S Problem

Hi guys,
I have a problem here and I would like to know the best way to solve it, if possible

A friend of my has a DFI INFINITY P965 DARK-S and when it he was installing the Windows the mobo stop working with no apparent reason, it was everything set as default, no OC.

In the shop where it was sent to make the RMA they said that the DFI refused it, however at the shop they identified a component spoiled:

The component was a transistor P72 BCP69. RIP

After some research I think is this:

Someone who has the mobo or that knows how to hel can tell me if this is the correct transistor and whether it is worth the exchange.
