I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 on a crappy integrated, and Compiz-Fuzion isn't enabled. Hell, Compiz-Fuzion isn't even installed. Interesting, wikipedia also says it's enabled by default, but like you said, things will remain plain until you install the graphics drivers.
Still great work though. Was only a couple of weeks ago I was excited we were getting over 4.5M...now 4.9M...
We will get them tomorrow...
Got it working pulled a 3870x2 from my CrossfireX rig since I do not need it right now anyway and put it in another rig so I could put that VC on the other rig...

you're sure that's stable
It's stable with only 1.32, but it's on my DS3-R, and it jumps from 1.32-1.34. The DS3-R is a good board, but the droop is terrible. It's 1.4 at idle. I'm using a P5K Deluxe with one of my other quads. I'm going to switch them around and see if i can get more out of this chip.
