    Well, it's gotta be expensive finding that many discontinued 8800 ultras. Plus it has koolance and a blu-ray player.

    Oh, and 2 gigs of ram... 2 gigs of O C Z ram.

    You also can't forget the 64gb SSD. Because you know... those things are so much better than 2 raptors in RAID 0. Raptors could never achieve a burst speed of nearly 60mb/sec. Not to mention the fact that you don't have to worry about drive failure if you drop your rig or set it down too hard while it's running.

    Seriously though, unless it ships with 2 24" LCD's for desktop and a 52" 1080p LCD for gaming, that's a joke.

    Edit: I forgot, maybe the koolance blocks are gold plated!!!

    Koolance is starting to use real gold in their components now.
    That explains the 11k price tag

    on a side note, thats a crazy amount of money for nothing more than a 3k computer
    Asus P6T, I7-920, 6gb ocz xmp, 4890, Raid 0-1 Terabyte, full watercooled - Triple Loop 5 radiators

    3k? lol... triple rad = 70 euros, pump res = 100 euros, 4 feet of tubing = 8 euros,
    blocks, 110 per vga and 60 for cpu = 390
    so watercooling = 568 euros

    now 3 ultras cost about 300 euros so 900.
    780i board = 230 euros
    2gigs ram = 55euros
    500gb =80 euros
    1000wpsu = 178 euros
    bluray = 259 euros
    antec p182 (special chrome edition) =200

    total for pc 1902 euros.

    total of everything 2450 euros. and they sell it for 6,966.80 euros
    conversion done on www.xe.com with exchange rate of 1 USD = 0.633346 EUR

    i mean comeon thats like 4.5 GRAND income! lol.... with 4.5K i could make a super duper quad loop Thermochill pa120.3, 655, EK/DTEK KILLER!

    Those Koolance radiator crap is much more expensive then 70 dollars. I think the triple version they used is even more expensive.

    Manufacturers like this always charge more because the "bean counters" have to calculate support.

    ..and in a unit like this there are alot of support beans

    Note the Irony:

    Deluge: 1 a: an overflowing of the land by water b: a drenching rain
    2: an overwhelming amount or number <received a deluge of offers>

    Delude: 1: to mislead the mind or judgment of : deceive, trick
    2obsolete a: frustrate, disappoint b: evade, elude

    Conclusion: An overwhelming amount of deceipt and trickery, which leads to a lapse of judgment.

    I think we can chock the $8k up to support costs.

    Anyone stupid enough to buy this will be calling support A LOT.

    Puget's always been expensive garbage, but wow..

    I'll sell my rig for the bargain basement price of $15k!
    And if that interests you, I've also got a bridge for sale!
    Seriously though, what a rip.

    Actually, click on the smiley in that post. The blocks ARE gold plated. Also, the link on their page to prove that gold plating has no bearing on performance shows a .5c increase in temp.

    It has a 64GB solid state HDD which might hike up the cost... but $11,000 is still a rip off.

    ROFL, that's why I hid the link, I couldn't blatantly post a link to that site on XS.
