Why aren't there more overclocking type lanparties?

As a enthusiastic member and avid overclocker I'd love to see more overclocking and hardware type of lan parties. Why aren't there more around?

A better question might be, would anyone like to have one in Minnesota?

I might go to one in MN, that would be cool.

I'd say just host your own and use entry money as a prize, like 1st place winner receives a Foxconn Black ops motherboard or something along those lines.

    Hey, im down...

In NY, but the upper left corner, not quite the lower right... Flights are cheap enough to NYC, if its within reasonable walking / subway distance.
