You just want to have the buttom filled with acetone and then supply when its gone...

depends on your hw, but hw in sig and one hour @ cpu, you can be good with a couple of kilos...

how mutch acetone should I fill ? start with 50-100ml 50 if di is rise shape, or 100 if it is bigger

It can take up to 1 litter watter? don't know how to help here

how mutch DI will I need for 1 hour test? depends on cpu 45nm/65nm, load, vcore, and mhz, lets say one kg

how can I guess when CPU has cold bug?
don't worry with intel and dryice, you u have very low chance to hit cold bug above -70C

and what kind of nail polish should I use to insulate it? dunno for this one maybe u can try also with some sort of plasti gum (see team turkiye way of insulation)

If you leave out the acetone and just use the DIce, what effect does that have on cooling ?

Then you will have temps around -25/-30 or so, its nearly twice as cold when using acetone or similar...

You can insulate with masking tape and papertowel... works like a gem...

Ok Great, thanks for the info.

I wasn't sure if I wanted the smell of the acetone but it sounds like it's the way to go. Just have to do it in well ventilated area.

    Thnx guys, love this forum

Here in Tbilisi 1kg copper block costs 10$

hmm U think that size copper will be enough?
    You made me WikiPedia Tbilisi.

Very nice pot, it looks huge.

I have no idea, so maybe I shouldn't ask her, but how do you make a pot?

    Thank for everything guys
Without this forum it would be much harder for me to make this kind of cooling
Next session will be really soon. First of all we are planning to brake Georgian frequency record (5500+ MHz) and after some bench records

Here is the video of the first session:

    here is some more pics
added some more insulation on the tube. At the first session which lasted over 1h the insulation around the pot began freezing at the end of the session, so I thing some extra insulation would not be bad

Ready for second DI session and GEO record

here are the results of the second session

We managed to brake Georgian record and got 5753.93 MHz on D347 but we expected to get better results
    we had one strange issue
on stock voltage CPU in bios was at -45c, but when I raised the voltage (1.8vcore) it hopped up to +50c what could be the reason?

Could also be the board not reading temp correctly, I've had many boards that do this, at all kinds of different temps.

AS5 is rather poor below zero, but it shouldn't cause plus temps. Maybe try next time to tighten screws more or use less insulation
