we had new DI sessions with our tube:

and here is the top validated result with it: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=492709

6002.13 MHz on Pentium 4 631. We got 6061 Mhz too, but validation file got corrupted.

Nice but still crappy one. 6GHz should be peace of cake with P4 631. What vCore?

    vCore was 1.80-1.85V

Yep, we know that but our tube is not quite good

Those dots are air "balls". Lap it, and more and more are coming... I think the tube has poor conductivity.

Very nice work.. I have been contemplating making my own Phase cooler.. One of my guys is a licensed ac man so he has access to all the goodies needed, seen a diy instruction set and looks pretty basic Old fridge compressor, so copper tubing and go go gadget cooling
This looks awesome though I seen the cpu validation (very nice) have any bench results for us??

that 6G was done on DICE, so its not that bad
We'v done 5.85GHz on E8600 and benched SPI on 5.75G (8.187c, not tweaked)
with the new mounting kit its a lot easier to insulate and bench
and remember, this pot is more for LN2 than DICE

Very nice, and its great to see this setup since I'm going to do dice for the first time later this month.

lol now I know for sure where I recognize that setup on youtube from. I must have watched you guys bench 2 times a week for all of 2009 .

Do you know if you gained extra FSB with dice on the NB?

    Cheers

the pot looks pretty nice..too bad overthere copper is so expensive that you could not afford a copper version, that would have kicked some serious butt
    keep pushing it

actually we can make the bottom of the pot copper
but it will cost us about 150$, because of its large 110mm diameter
so it will be easier and cheaper to make new 60mm diameter pot

    but I have one question
is it recommended to melt the copper and drill it after that?
will it have bubbles like alu does?

    please?

And also, why do you not fill it up higher with dice? seems like it could only get colder

yet we don't bench in 3D
so our sessions don't last much time and it's not necessary to fill it up, it will not give big difference in temps
when we start 3d benches we will fill it up, because it will melt quickly

We did not use DI on NB mate. We just air-cooled it with TR HR-05 IFX/SLI Cooler.
