    Ammocan PC

I saw one on mini-itx.com so I decided Why not? My dad's got plenty of ammo cans, and now I've got a portable waterproof computer.

It's a Dothan 1500, with 512MB of ram, intel extreme graphics 2, 40GB seagate, 60GB maxtor and will soon have a 10X cd drive from a old NEC versa laptop.

    It's not done yet,to do:
-get laptop cd drive adapter <--ordered
    -mount the other hard drive
    -mount cd drive
    -mount drive cage

took about 10 minutes once I got all the parts, including riveting in the psu bracket

    Love it!

I guess Ballistix Tracers would be the appropriate RAM

    Thanks, and
nah, it's buried so they would be covered

    EDIT:Oh! i get you!!
    [i'm a little slow]

but then they would need to be 1-4 in ball ram and I only have one slot! [and it only registers 420mb of 512MB]

Okay now it's all in pieces and waiting to be put in a .30 cal ammocan, with a XBOX power supply. I was able to work on it a little, but ran out of cutoff wheels, I had just gotten more and the new ones wear out in about 3 inches of 1/32 inch steel! Dremel seems to make the wheels softer now, I guess they have to, selling the tool part for ~$20 all their money is from the attachments. I bought one when I was 9 for $100 and am currently pissed Well, no pics this time, sorry!
