this looks to be an outside housing for the whole pump

    edit:

    translated this one is called

    HNP-D5BODY-1 aluminum MCP655/D5 armor

    edit:

the circle thing covers the rear to complete the "armor housing"

holes to adjust speed and for cable

That looks like a Tapped inlet/outlet. It doesn't do anything other than change the outside.

yes, it's only an aesthetic mod, a top mod in POM should be available soon (i don't know if it'll increase the performance or what, and not pictures available )

so if i get this correctly, none of the alu is wetted right? Cuz i dont think vincent would of allowed wetted alu to pass.

Also, the D5 gets hot, so im assuming this is a better heat shell to minimize heat dump back into the water?

The thing is too shiny. My eyes hurt. I must be getting too old for this hobby. I cant even tollerate LED's anymore. :\

I can already predict the results, no change. This only changes the pump housing, not the impeller or top.

I cannot tell from the front, but what if you use the EK front, with the bitspower ring and rear..
Polished metal with a delrin front.. I like!
