    New Machine, New Milestones

Well I got my new rig up and running finally.

I am putting it through its test paces ATM.

Some of you may have seen this thread in the phase section. Well I got it to Germany and unpacked it, figured I would upgraded some stuff. Turned into a major overhaul, just for the heck of it.

The QX6700 B3 is sitting at just over 3.3 ghz right now, and it will get higher. The SMP client is running at around 75% workload right now. I am having some board issues though where any time I put ram module in the second dual channel mem slot, the board wont boot. So its pretty much gotta run in single stick mode right now. This board is gettin swapped out eventually I just dont know when. So thats the update.

Additionally, it has put out 2 WU's so far, and kicked me over 200 WU and 100K points total so YAYY for that.

What is the command to setup the configuration for the SMP client again? I can't find it. I used to know it, but now I don't....

ok its holding 100% loaded at -40.5C

next step is setting it to run 2 instances of the smp client and use the affinity changer

Never used the affinity changer or run more than one instance of the SMP. I'm guessing you just install the SMP client again to a second folder, give it machine ID 2 when you set it up. Be sure both clients have the -local flags in their run commands (so they don't get confused as to who is who).

I'm guessing maybe 2 threads on core 0, 2 on core 1, 2 on core 2, 2 on core 3 using the affinity changer? Something like that I suppose.... not really sure

Some have, but I haven't. Sure someone who has will chime in at some point.
