I got off to a poor start lol.
Got a new job yesterday (yay go me) so had a few to drink last night. Net died during the night and only fired my second machine up this morning about 11.

Well known issue at least with the model I have. Same like on a m/b; radial electrolytic caps degrade over time - some faster than others. That's why the whole "solid caps", DS3 vs S3, wave started.
Go open any Dell Optiplex GX260/270 or PWS470/670 or point-of-sale machine from same time period which hasn't already had the m/b swapped and you'll see the caps bulging and maybe bleeding all over themselves.

I have a GX270 that has had a mobo replaced twice. The problems are insane. However, the last one lasts pretty well now.

Few GX270s at work, no problems that I know of. Possibly unaffected by that issue.

Heh, pop them open and look at the caps before certifying them as problem free. I swear I've changed at least 100 of those m/bs.
