of course i am going to

i am not someone's show pony

i've received boards from nvidia in the past as i have some graphics cards. They were nothing special compared to rest of the boards ppl were getting

if you have some proof i am asking you to provide it .......... otherwise you are wasting your breath with your tin foil arguments and don't clog up my thread with it.

Did you create that quote or what. i can't even find that on the forum mate

ah, the quote was from another forum about this particular thread. I hope you are right about the motherboards or any other hardware for that matter that you receive are nothing but ordinary from nvidia. cheers.

    i am right

look under my created threads history and compare that against other ppl >> LOL you would laugh how crappy my 8800GT cards OC compared to others .> max bench i can get on them is 700/1750/999 on '01/'06 and i had to reduce RAM OC to something stupid like 930 or 940 to get them stable through '03 and '05 LOL> now you tell me is that special or what (2xcards brother and same crappy clocks )

please link to your source from forum discussing this

i tried higher FSB boot at lower multi while i was finishing up with no more ln2 splashes just to see what it can do and could not improve results. i actually just realised that since i haven't bench with nvidia boards seriously for a long time i got a few things mixed up.........one was MCP and SPP

good to see that SPP volts helped me scale FSB

my MCP were on auto and bios was showing 1.4v so gotta check now to see whether more gains can be had..... should be interesting finding this out

i will also try using that nvidia FSB software again with IDE drive. (had some issues on air cooling once i pass 570MHz FSB with one of my worse FSB OCers where the refersh rate on the screen was going a bit whacko (funny enough i had the same issue benching on P5B DLX) and see how far above 600 i can go

only issue now is finding a chip that can handle cold well

OK i've just done some SuperPi testing

i've got all the settings listed in screenshots

P1 and P2 i am referring to are new RAM settings which have been included with the latest BIOS nvidia uploaded a couple of days ago

They give a massive RAM boost and i tell you what....this board isn't too shabby for superpi as well . This is definitely good news for 3D guys as well because 680i and 780i boards were not as good as this

thank-you very much for the 32M testing Dinos...much appreciated. looks about bang on with P35 performance at those clocks. well, without the fun ratios you have on this board

now, to justify the almost $400 it will be after taxes...oh right, crazy DDR3 clocks
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

i wonder though, since I don't really want to buy a new cpu, how does this chipset clock with kentsfield? I realize its a moot point since it will most definitely do 400fsb, but it would be nice to push it with a low multi. I even somewhat take back my nvidia bashing, and might even start benching again. As soon as the boards drop to below 300, I'm set...
