    Talking 31K 3DM06 (2x3870 X2 + 5.65GHZ QX9650)

    Hi all!

Today I got another 3870X2 and decided to do some quick pre results.

I had huge problems with BlackOPS beta bios and Crossfire. Max fsb was 405.
Cards run fine and overcloking was as easy as before.

These runs were done in hurry, cause I have only this night left to bench. I have another things to do in next few weeks.

No pictures of setup, cause my camera is still away.

    Setup:

    Foxconn BlackOPS (bios 7)
    QX9650 @ 1.96V
    G.Skill DDR3 (2.3V)
    2x 3870 X2 (1. unmodded and 2. modded) (918MHz/1070MHz all tests)
    Thermaltake TT 1200W
    PCI-E @ 120MHz
    Max fsb 405MHz.

    Operating system: Win Vista 32-bit

    Screenshots can speak for themselves

    03: 129K (5650MHz)

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5748457

    05: 38K (5700 380x15 )

    06: 31K (5650 14x 403)

Aquamark: Doesn't work well at all.

01 run with only 1 core? It was too slow to show here.

    I hope you like it

Good run do the drivers seem finished or are there issues with the benches (besides aquamark). any idea how much it is using the other gpu's?

Very nice run. I assume those GPUs were at 825MHz? Lots of room for improvement. I also wonder how badly CPU limited you are, with my 3850's I don't even max them out in 3D06 with a 4.2GHz E8400, was 90% utilization on 1 GPU and ~80% utilization on the 2nd.

Nothing against you as a bencher, but I love the fact that the Foxconn program is brining soo many new names to the top of the game

Its now not just a 3-5 man game at the top of the ORB.

Great job man and keep it going

I see your point, but why do you think that immature bios and ES motherboard gives me some kind of advantage? If those runs were made 12.5x 450, those scores would be even better.

I'm sorry if someone thinks, that I don't deserve these scores.

Now I'm pissed and will go to sleep!

    You missed his point m8

    He dident mean that.
He meant that it is cool that because of foxcoon benchers get hardware and can produce great results.

And when he said nothing against you he thougth that he explained that he dident mean you where unknown or a noob

    Congrats mate, good scores.

Your GT3 is lower than what Sham had at 5400MHz so I'm thinking there is much more left there, plus 32k with high FSB/MEM and so on for sure.

Goes to show that theres a lot of talent out there, but in many cases restricted by access to high end hardware

Nice scores. I imagine that GPU-Z has to be not reading the clocks. Great job!

    Thank you everyone!

There is so huge computing power in 4GPUs, that overclocking didn't do much to the scores. Every 100MHz on CPU did some noticeable difference.
You can compare current WR runs from No_name and see that my 918MHz vs. his 1066MHz did not much difference at 5.7GHz cpu speed. We need more CPU power.

So, the best scores can be done only if your CPU clocks enough. Too bad, that those 6GHz beasts are not growing in a tree.

Yes it is Running AM3 in vista is not best possible situation. I don't know how many cores it was using. I quess only one card (2GPUs)

01 was worst test. Nature score was 608fps with these cards at 918MHz...talking about scaling here

Drivers will improve of course, so new scores will come when the time is right. time.
