    Temp reading

so what is the most accurate temp reading software. i just replaced one of my old P5B Deluxes with a DFI Infinity P965. my first DFI.

so far i'm about 300mhz higher and more stable but... it came with smart guardian.. with is reading 50c full load.. and core temp (which actually crashed as soon as i typed it) was reading 60c.

10 degree difference on the dot. which one is accurate? or should i be using a more accurate one?

CoreTemp crashed because you are probably on Vista x64, correct?

The most accurate program is CoreTemp, followed by TAT in my experience.

I have attached the fixed x64 version of CoreTemp.

my CoreTemp crashes in every version of windows. i have a few XPSP2 machines, two Vista64 machines, and a Vista32 machines. coretemp crashes on all of them about 10-15 minutes of running. anywhere from stock speeds to full OC.
