    Team Japan is challenging the limit of E8500

    I tested two E8500 and six P5B Deluxe.....

    By NewBeetle
    Max Frequency (CPU-Z Validation) : 6037.23MHz (FSB635.5MHz x 9.5)


    modPI 1M : 7.766s @5972.2MHz (FSB628.7MHz x 9.5)

    wow, nice clock, does the 965 chipset do better then P35?

    It congratulates.
    There is a same batch cord even in Korea. But buys very is difficult.

    have you tried higher NB volts considering the cooling

    Yes, my best P5B Deluxe is better than my best P5K now.
    I want to work P5K better FSB than P5B Deluxe.

    I have not tried higher NB volts than 1.70V.
    Because I burnt my 2nd best P5B Deluxe by NB high voltage...

    I have comparison 6x and 9.5x.
    Each FSB is the same.
    I think it is the mobo's limit not CPU.

    nice i guess with an even better NB chipset these E8500 can go even higher on FSB!

    Really need to hunt for the best board/chipset for best FSB headroom it seems for these E8500

    Always love the yellow Beetle car in those photos as well

    1271mhz 4-4-4-4 with 2gigs on i965 phenomenon

    You CPU is not bad also
    Congratulations on the WR's both Frequency and Spi with Wolfie

    Did you try to disable the second core, maybe you should earn some more Mhz and beat more QX York Spi times, or the MB is limiting you ?
