Scythe makes great stuff and all, but seriously. wtf is this thing?!

I have a ninja, a katanaII, and i love them both. Not as much as the Cooler Master Hyper 212...because of how hard the ninja is to install (yes, removing the board is easier. I do not have tiny fingers that bend well.), and the katanaII is great for $20...

    but this thing?
    what purpose does it serve?

It's like the Tuniq 120 Tower MAX

I definitely don't want that hanging on my mobo

The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

well one upside is that if the fan can manage to push the air through all those fins, it will also cool the surrounding heatsinks, such as mosfets, dims, and NB.

I don't think fitting it into most cases will be a real problem, it is no taller than a TRUE, Noctua NH-U12, Tuniq Tower, or many other tower coolers.

It will certainly make working around it in a case a real b!tch though.

Wonder how it does in push pull? maybe with the 500 RPM fan on top to keep air from bleeding out the top

More area makes better cooling, isn't that true?

I'd gladly test that one out to see how well it'll work with cooling all the surrounding components like the dimms besides the CPU.

Only thing bothering me is that it looks very clumsy.
