They sunk to that "new low" almost a year ago right after they got bought out. All the well known hardware aficionados that got fed up moved over to xcpus.com and Tom's has just continued to slide downhill

Culver City (CA) - Two snarky Inquirer editors have fled their European oppressors and have joined TG Daily to form the unholy Trinity. Both are known for their humor and have given corporate titans ulcers with their take-no-prisoners style of writing. We give a warm welcome to Charlie Demerjian and Theo Valich. Time for us to buy a flame-proof suit.
    Indeed

Oh what the hell? Charlie was at least semi-sane.
Now Inq is going to be like Fudzilla...
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

oops, just my english, I mean, the word used on xs that start a title like:

Inq - AMD is ready to launch 22nm

    or

FUD - Intel is dead see the new AMD cpu.

was thinking this word was use in english too. In my langage balise is used to say thing like "balise argos" ou "balise html". So neither an acronym, neither a made up word, just a non native speaker and a non english word

Just because they were bought by BOM (best of micro) if I'm right and this 'company' still already own another bad-quality-'review website' called PPC (presence-pc) If i don't make mistake

    This is my personnal Opinion

FUD / INQ / TOM make news to get visitor so that should be a good idea to create a new TOM "balise" !

Well hello there elfking, I remember you from Tom's. Glad to see most of the good ones from Tom's are around here (AliG, JumpingJack, and a few others too). And I agree I had been a member of Tom's forumz for quite a while but I didn't find it "Xtreme" enough

I was on Tom's a long time ago too. Back when FUGGER was getting flamed for using Intel chips. I wonder if Crashman is still in the forums. I haven't been to tom's in years.

Aww, year 2002...how I barely remember you.
