    hmmm

Anyone use this on AMD based systems?

I have the Foxconn version of the Nforce590-SLI board, works nice but AMD max's out the T(rc) at 26, no way to get it to the 48 called for in the SPD for 1066 operation.

Any suggested timings to get 1066 to work, I'm sitting at 980 at the moment, as if just "something" is missing.

Great ram though. I'm considering a move to the latest Nforce 790 Foxconn board for the Phenom II, as soon as Foxconn releases an official bios for it.

Just a quick question regarding this kit since I'm looking for a low profile DDR2-1066 2x2GB set. I have a DFI JR P45 mATX, this set is on the qualified memory list according to DFI but not on G Skill's list and G Skill rep also says 'no problem on P45 motherboards' - so I'm assuming these ought to get me DDR2-1050-1100 memory speed using various dividers? Does anyone have this particular memory+mobo combo?

Also are these kits still doing a well as they have in the past, or is the binning putting the better ones in the PI series? I would consider the -4GBPI instead even though they aren't low profile.

well, i am not able to guarantee for overclock because every kit is different. DFI mATX i haven't heard any problem with our 1066 memory. i assume it is ok. PI and PK are the same but i will take PI if the price are the same

Well I ordered them not long after posting that I'm sure they'll be ok since they're on DFIs memory list. So you're saying that PK and PI are the same modules other than the heatspreaders?

    Great Memory Indeed.

But it runs hot, too HOT. In fact without active cooling it is overheating and crashing. No wonder the RMA rate is so high!

Not sure why the specs. say 2-2.1v when it runs at much lower voltages.

I was able to stabilize 4 modules at 1.87v w/ active cooling on DFI LP x48 LT

Is this normal? I've bought these Dec. 08 from NewEgg.

    Revised chips maybe?

    So: 4 modeles / 8GB / 1066Mhz / 1.87v / W AC RC Turbo module blowing at it.

    Hello,

I have the F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK x2 (8gb total) memory installed and I was wondering if there were any advantages to enabling in my ASUS Crosshair II Formula bios the SLI Memory option, if so which High Performance or Optimal setting would be recommended?

Hopefully someone can shoot me in the right direction

By the way you can add the ASUS Crosshair Formula II to the list of supported mobos...

Question for GSKILL Tech, I have the F2-8500-CL5D 4gb kit on a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard. What is the correct value for tRFC? I have it set to auto. I see some guys that have it set manually to tRFC-55 with this memory.

Btw. this ram is also running great with the P45 Maximus II Formula. Need 1,80VDimm (minimum with this board) for 1000Mhz in 333Strap at 500FSB, PL10, 5-5-5-12. For 1066Mhz in 333Strap with 533FSB, PL10, 5-5-5-15 I need 1,87VDimm.
