Ordered a Accelero S1 for my 8800GTS 512, need some advice

Hi, I just ordered a accelero s1 and I'll be installing it in my 8800GTS 512 and I have some questions.

I plan on putting a Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm on it. Can I connect it to the cards fan connection?
I heard the heatsinks that come with the cooler arenīt easy to attach, what is the best way to attach them?

Thanks... and sorry if my english sounds strange

    [edit]Update

Just installed the accelero in my GPU and I'm am impressed, I have never been impressed so much with something I bought! and so cheap my card with stock cooling and fan speed set at 55% via riva tunner was idling at 45š and playing crysis it will hit 70š

This Is my result with the accelero and withouth any fan! playing crysis for 30min

edit - My system is now cooling down (I stopped playing crysis a couple of minutes ago) and now it's idling at 34š

Best to plug into a Mobo header close to the card. Can control fan speed in the BIOS then.

Never heard that the ram sinks aren't easy to attach, and I have one. They come with fairly sticky clear applications, may not be the best sinks though.

the ram sinks will stick fine, but you must clean the ram chips properly, use isopropyl or medical alcohol, something that is very pure. Don't use citrus based Akasa cleaner or similar.

Iīve Order one too, for my HD 3850. I have also read a couple of times that the heatsinks fall of all the time. If thats true you can always glue them with somthing like zalman Thermal adhersive or so. But then It will be harder to loosen them for upgrades in the future.

Iīm gonna slap 2 x 120 mm Primecooler 2000/rpm, 67 cfm on my sink, really looking forward to that

Arcticlean is citrus based too - you should be able to smell it whenever you use step 1.

hum... that's probably bad, what If I told you I have already used it in a GPU's memory chips before I applied artic cooling mx-2? what can happen?

Artic Clean is a 2 part cleaner. Yes, the first part is citrus based. That is used to break down the old TIM.

The second part is the actual prep, and is not citrus based. It cleans off the 1st part.

(Part-1 cleans old TIM. Part-2 cleans off part-1)

I used it when I attached the ramsinks that came with my S1. Worked like a charm. highly recommended.

the issue is with small ramsinks with pre-applied thermal tape, nothing else

Should be okay. The one thing I didn't like about using AC on a memory or on small chips (e.g. NF4 chipset) is that it tends to bleed off the chip quickly and make a mess. But if you found a way to do it and used the second part .. good.
