Alternatively, you could use Primochill 3/8 ID 5/8 OK on 1/2" barbs and skip the special fittings. Works great!

Water cooling components in one loop: Thermochill 120.3 to cool CPU and NB,Thermochill 120.2 to cool GPU, DDC3.2 + Petras top for above pumps.

is bits power the only maker of a g1/4 1/2ID comp fitting? or are there other manufacturers? I have been contemplating switching my whole setup over to compression fittings but I need about 20 of them, and at $7 a pop, thats pretty pricey.

I know frozencpu stocks bitspower stuff, they may have the compression fittings but I am not sure. Other than that, compression fittings are certaily not for the WCer on a budget, the damn things are expensive as hell.

edit: looks like they only have thinwalled compression fittings.

No, FrozenCPU sell compression fittings for 3/8" ID 5/8" OD with 1/8" walls. It's the only one available for thick walls from BitsPower.

I was commenting on your edit about thinwalled. Performance-PCs doesn't seem to sell 1/8" wall version of the compression fittings

Only got a couple of them, but Frozen sent me the wrong ones. 3/8 1/2 so be careful to examine what you get
