Challenge the limitation of Quad-core CPU-DFI LANParty DK P35 First Look

It’s almost half a year when Intel Bearlake chipset launched.
3 top motherboard manufacturers were released different version’s P35 platform.
Price is quite reasonable, which are around US$135~160.
That kinds of pricing are popular in the market.

DFI has created 3 different P35 based motherboards.
They are: DFI LP UT P35-T2R/DFI LP LT P35-T2R.
Two high-end models are mostly focus on performance and overclocking.
Later, DFI also released an entry-level version: Blood-Iron P35.
Overclock performance is good as usual. But features and components usage is a quite “entry-level”….

Recently, DFI launched a new LANParty series, called DK.
The LANParty DK P35. It has 3 different versions:
    1)full solid capacitor + ICH9R
    2)full Japanese capacitors + ICH9R
    3)full Japanese capacitors + ICH9
    They priced around US$150~170.

The leading character this time is DFI LANParty DK P35’s Jap. Caps. + ICH9R version

    BIOS pages
This model also has CMOS Reloaded function, it almost the same to high-end model’s P35.

    CPU:INTEL Core 2 Extreme QX6800
    MB: DFI LanParty DK P35
    DRAM:CORSAIR Dominator TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF
    VGA:ELSA FALCOX HD260XT 256B3 HDT RH
    HD:Seagate 7200.10 320G
    POWER:Corsair HX520W Modular Power Supply
    Cooler:Thermaltake V1

    CPU: 400X8=>3200Mhz
    DRAM: DDRII 1200 CL5 5-5-18,2.06V

Dual SP2004 Blend mode runs steady!!

    Quad-core in FSB500 by 4X Super PI 32M finished!!

    Quad-core in FSB522 by 1X Super PI 32M finished!!

I used this QX6800 CPU OC with most P35 boards in the market, it gained around FSB470~480.
Although the highest record with quad-core almost reached 484MHz.

It is hard to imagine that this DK series board can push the FSB limitation to another level. It rocks me.
Hope these 3 version of DK series can be satisfied enthusiast as a different choice!!

    1)full solid capacitor + ICH9R
    2)full Japanese capacitors + ICH9R
    3)full Japanese capacitors + ICH9
    They priced around US$150~170.
So among those 3 which one is the most expensive? Number 2 i suppose?

I'm fairly new to the forum but I just wanted to say great job windwithme, I spent some time looking through your reviews and their very well done and great quality pictures! So thanks for your hardwork and great reviews! With that said I would also like to know if you have any ideas about availibility on the retail market (you know for regular folks with no connections), lol!
