    Wink Skulltrail @ XS

    K|ngp|n flew in yesterday to drop some F1's on the Skulltrail platform for some fun with the ultimate platform that is being released today.

    Some info other sites missed;

    SATA Raid is backwards compatible, you can move from ICH9R without reloading the raid. Just load the INF drivers.

    Skulltrail is Socket 771 with LGA 775 mounting holes for more cooling options.

    Memory configurations, who got it wrong?

    Scores are going up now so look for a XOC thread later.

    Wow! 5.5 ghz. That's insane. I'm guessing you could play ANY arcade game in MAME full speed. Likewise i would love to know if you could tell the difference with everyday use (i'm sure you could with blu ray decoding etc.)

    All the reviews tested with suboptimal memory configuration ( only 2 DIMMs instead of 4 ).

    Can you do some memory tests since you're running it as QC ?

    Awsome!

    Any joy with getting the FSB up at all? HardOCP was stuck at 405, hopefully with the much better cooling you can get higher? He seemed to think it was the CPUs that was stuck at that level, but I'd have though it was the mobo
