I think about using them in my setup too ! From what Noctua writes, they seem to be good even for high restrictive radiators. I wouldn't say so but if you will use them whith PA120.3 for an example they'll be ok. And you'll hear just nothing

they do look awesome but for the price its not worth it.

they are like £20 here and the medium speed yates are a quarter of the price

#1. San Ace aka Sanyo Denki SanAce 1011 has the greatest static pressure

#2 Zalman F3 series. Vapor was shocked at how well these fans held up

if you need LED's the F3's come in blue and red.

    #3 sharkoon golfballs & empapst.

Then would come yates. At this point yates start performing on par with everything else or better, and have a much more attractive price.

i wanna know how the 38mm ultra kaze's would pull on vapors chart. Maybe i'll buy one and throw it at him to see if he doesnt get one to test soon. :T

Good to hear. But I have been using these fans on my TRUE for some time now (yeah, I know this is the WC forum) and I will be transfering them over to a WC setup I have had on the books for some time now. Needless to say, they have impressed me.

Hi, I have been using Noctua fans for quite some time,
Since the NF-P12 come out got 3 for my PA120.3 and 4 for my Stacker 832 side panel.

I dont hear them much and from what i can tell they provide a better air flow 92,3 m³/h than others i could get.
in fact since they come out it took a while to get them locally so i had them order abroad (extra $$) in order to get them.
For all its worth iam happy with them,

above is stats after cpu load aprox 30mins where i cleared the log. room temp i think was about 25c (ps: the pc was closeby to the heat radiator in the room some some warm air might have been taken into the pc)

I like the ideas behind these fans, but would really love to see a head to head test with the Petra's curved blade YL's in hard numbers. Might be easier to stomach the price considering the 10 fans I'd need to change in my machine

I can vouch that the Noctua's are bloody quiet, even at full speed. A step quieter than my 1200rpm YL's, for certain. I'm undecided on open-case flow strength, as my back-of-hand-o-meter thinks the YL's are moving a little more air, even with thier slightly lower rpm. Noctua's marketing this strictly as a static-pressure fan, so perhaps they found some extra pressure at the expense of airflow? Like a water pump with extra head and less flow?
