Mozilla begins work on The Firefox 3 Multi-OS Interface

As you can see, Mozilla has began working on the Multi-OS Interface for Firefox.

Its Currently in Firefox 3 Beta 3 but is disabled. This is a picture of it enabled and in Windows Vista.

Mozilla is doing a good job at redesigning the UI especially for multi-OSes. From what I know so far. There isn't a way to force enable the Mac OS X UI or even enable it on a Mac OS X system at this time, But By Firefox 3 Beta 4 (final build of beta 4). It should be enabled automatically.

This link here over at Ars Technica illustrates it a little better.
I don't really get the thread tittle though, what do you mean with "begins"? They have been busy with this for quite some time and have talked about it for quite some time as well.

That Article not about this. That is the Normal Cross-OS UI. (PS It looks like they found the Mac OS Multi-OS UI in one of the pics but thats it)

This is the Multi-OS UI. That is disabled in Beta 3 right now.

Look at the difference between my picture and the one in the article you've found.

Mozilla has started the Multi-OS UI in Beta 3 and thats why its disabled, because its not done.
