This board is a piece of gold!! Truely one of the best I've ever tested with a QX9650. What an FSB killer!
I've tested several boards so far and sometimes felt it a bit monochrome as differencies weren't very clear. But things are clear with the DFI LP DK P35-T2RS. Difference is real.
Check this figure to compare.
Just amazing...
So; I'm not yet fully confident with the board. BTW, I've started playing with it under cold. As I've said already, FSB was the first good point; then the second was CPU temperature monitoring... Yeah, the temperature as shown by speedfan or the bios, looks very accurate even at about -120C.
Nothing is perfect... And obviously, the DK P35 isn't. The voltages aren't very good on this one. I mean, CPU core set to AUTO+0.785v corresponds to 'only' 1.81v actual; same matter with vDDR... 2.50v bios is in fact 2.39v actual.

woah nice Bertha has the powa
Yeah DFI digital pwm makes selecting right vcore pretty hard.

Good news and very nice ... i ordered one few days ago !
Seems to be a good choice
i need this motherboard
first, combine for my nick name
second, mi p5n e sli sucks!
E6600 / Asus P5N-E SLI / 2x1Gb Supertalent 667 / Shappire 2900xt / Audigy2 Zs / WD 250gb / Dell E228
Congratz Bro !!! impressive little P35
I think the bios isn't good for the Vcore (same problem with the LP P35 with you) you need the futur bios for the true value for the vcore
Awesome results!! Now i understand why people love DFI so much.
Maybe i´m getting one to verify that kind of power by myself.
Sorry for my poor english.
Wow man, this mobo is really awesome!
Hope my TR2 arrive soon...it's in customs for 3 days now
Rbs.
Sorry for my bad English

She is better than the DFI LanParty P35 ?
Great score
Thanks guys!
Hum; ok I see. I've to figure out a vDROOP mod; I can't bench very high because of that crappy vCORE. It fluctuates a lot; and worstly at high skies.
It is! I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate it buddy.
You may be right bro. Anyway; I think a simple vDROOP mod would benefit the stabilty a lot.
I don't have a Wolfdale to test. Sorry. What's your max FSB?
You mean the UT LP version, right? So, Yes, it looks like better to me.

Xavier

great results before, ill be sure to pump that thing when my e8400 finally arrives. it seems to be a real great board for the money, it costs around 120euros in germany
Great score Before
i love petite bertha

Max FSB so far was 511... Corrupted validation Anyway, that's not bad for a CPU which was stuck at about 480FSB on previous boards.
Next step will be under the Fat Bertha...

1.83v is your max possibilité of vcore , or you had not test more ?
And what about the memory clocking on this board ?
Have you test others cpus under it ?
I was wondering when this board would be tested/released? A while back windwithme tested the regular DK version (the one available now) and mentioned the more expensive versions (all solid caps, etc...) but he did mention any release dates. Anyway great review and thanks for sharing your results before, much apprecaited!

NewEgg has this board for $135 IIRC.
A wolf in wolves clothing.
Thanks guys!
vCORE is a real matter. Looks like all settings from AUTO+0.700v to +0.785v don't make a clear difference. Additionnally, vDROOP is awfully HUGE! I've to find a vDROOP mod ASAP. Too bad there isn't a voltage damper option in the bios. It would be a great addition.
Didn't try memory clocking too much. Anyway, the board seems to doesn't like tRFC (might be something like that the tighter the PL = the higher the tREF)... and can't say anything else ATM.
I've only tried it with actual QX9650... and will try it with a golden C738 QX9650 (one of K.J.'s) I want mid-500FSB validated.
Thanks
I've asked my contact at DFI about availability. I'll let you know.

wow you tried DFI X38 LT or P35-T2R as well ? they don't seem to have bad a vdroop as the DK P35 ???? Or quad core QX9650 a factor ?

@Roger_D25
in Poland it's available from about 1 month, but users didn't observe any advantage with all solid caps
