    Setup:

    Intel C2D E8500 Batch Q740A
    Asus P5K Vanilla full moded
    2048 MB DDR2 Kingston 9600
    LN2 Container "Lazar"

    very impressive.,

    Nice CPU and nice Ram Oh and nice Motherboard The vanilla PK5 always amazes me.

    But i don't like the VR's being too far away from the soldering points. Keep them closer. There is a lot going on and they will pickup interference.

    But hey doesn't look to have held you back

    Vanilla is the choise on LN2 !
    I have good experience with the VR's far away from soldering points.
    On QX9650 this Setup performs good as well.

    That's right, but not with a Multi of 9
    An older Bios is faster but you can't use half multis.
    And this is the main advantage of QX for SPI1M performance , you can see it here :

    very impressive result

    i think running with 2 cores enabled instead of 1 will lower your spi time.


    i no longer use a laptop.
