Why don't you just go all clamps down and clamp it away. If you've already clamped a couple of barbs you might as well clamp the others to give it a more uniform look. You also buy yourself a bit of safety

To be honest, I did clamp them all about two weeks ago- I don't like the look of them but the thought of proving Waterlogged right kept nagging at me . I did manage to get all UV blue clamps though, so they match my tubing.

My pal has a graphics company...he used a special vinyl as the normal vinyl wouldn't stick properly. Always wanted to post my rig on this thread....spent hours looking at t-j07s on here...jumping from link to link.

Are there any cases here that have 3/8 ID - 4/8 (1/2) OD tubing?
I cant decide if I should go with 4/8 OD or 6/8 OD for my TJ07.
Im guessing 4/8 OD would look rather stupid in such a large case?

Edit: Oblivion Sky - What size is your tubing?

you mean 1/2" ID 3/4" OD right? Its a common size and would give you a slightly higher flow rate then using a smaller size.

No, I ment what I said.
    3/8 ID and 4/8 OD.
There is no such tube as 1/2 OD and 3/4 ID, thats impossible.

Edit: And the question has nothing to do with flow, only what looks better.

I think he meant 1/2" ID and 3/4" OD, which is one of the most popular sizes, and works great for flow rate, and looks great too. Don't be so quick to dismiss the mighty 1/2" ID tube, or as I like to call it the "Mississippi River" of tubing. Putting aesthetics over performance is sacrilege to my ears, but you can do what you want.

As for 3/8" ID and 4/8" OD tubing, I've never seen it, but that is awfully thin-walled tubing, does it even bend? It seems like it would kink even in a 45 degree semi-circle. I would think you want the walls of the tube to be as thick as possible, to prevent drooping and kinking, but maybe that's just me. Also you can forget finding compression fittings for that tubing.

I have not dismissed 1/2 ID tubing at all.
I simply asked if there was anyone having pictures of what 4/8 OD tubing looked like inside an TJ07 so I can draw my own conclusion.
And about the compression fittings, that is the reason I cant take 3/8 ID 5/8 OD.
The shop has only got compression fittings for 3/8 ID 4/8 OD or 1/2 ID 3/4 OD..

I mixed up my ID and ODs. But 4/8" is the same as 1/2" That was the point I was trying to make.

    Thread revive.

Did the people who mounted their side panel on the inside sand back the thread that protrudes into the side panel, and use a screw/nut on the other side of the acrylic?
