    E8500 Q740A645 + Commando

    Hi all...this evening i tried my E8500 on some spi and pifast scores.
    My setup is always the same, but i'd only 1 stick of DDR2 then i'm limited with results, anyway i'll try to do better when i'll have new memories :

    E8500 L740A645 @ 1.84v
    Asus Commando rev C2 - Vcore, vdrop
    1024 Cellshock Red Passion 9200 @ 2.65v
    Ocz Powerstream 520W
    Ati x1050
    Cpu @ -114°C (Little Devil`s Pot)
    Nb @ -25°C (Homemade)
    Bench Table by Dimastech.it
    Boot 550x9.5

    Spi 1M 8.250s



    Pifast 17.49s

    Nice start. Have you tried max FSB with lower multi? Curious how much you gain by chilling the NB. Youd think the ram should do cas 4 at those clocks and volts. Single channel only makes a very very small difference compared to dual in 1M.

    Thanks! Yes, but i've to optimize it... anyway my OS isn't perfect couse i encountered some problems during installation (vga drivers and some other issue)

    I've not tried with E8500 for max fsb,i forgot it. But i tried with my E8400. My commando is pretty good and it run on air cooled chipset till 645mhz. Chilling it i achieved 660Mhz on E8400 and i think is one of the highest fsb done with a wolfie.
    You're right with my ram cas! But this stick is at his end,his brother is dead , some months ago i could run without problem this freq @ cas4...but now...i'm searching a good pair and we'll see if i can do better!

    Thanks Marco, i bought some ddr2, we'll se again what i can do at those freq but 2Gb cas 4-4-4-8 and tight sub
    I'll try also some bench with my E8400...

    Where was that Commando made? Taiwan or China?

    China, all my mobos are made in china,if not i don't buy it
    I think that for this settings is difficult achieve better scores, btw we'll see also with another commando,maybe this have some problems with memories...
    What do you think?
