    E8500 single stage benching

    I found the latest bios for this mobo cant run as high FSB.
    I used the F3 BIos with the GIG-X38 DQ6 and i have a much better FSB can boot at 560FSB and hitting wall now at 582
    Ram maxes at 550FSB 4-4-4-12, so had to use c5
    SPi benches to come

    What Vdimm were you using at 550 Cas4 Kayl ? Also why hav'nt you used the 9.5 multi ?

    i tried to 2.55v
    THis bios doesnt have .5X. Most other bios i have tried fsb walled at 540FSB
    I also had the same thing on a DDr3 system.

    8.828sec 1Mb SPI
    9mins 58 sec 32m SPI

    Finally!! Someone trying 32M. Im getting way bored with seeing 1M runs everywhere. Not a test of all that much any more.

    Lets see some 3DM or wPrime!!!

    I like to see ppls high FSB speed with 32m SPI
    I dont have a gpu at moment, but working on wrpime now
    Very slow though without a quad core

    Hmm, maybe I'll have to flash back to F3 and see what happens. I'm currently at 500 FSB with F7.

    But its just not stable 530's for 32m SPi etc

    Imo, 8500 @ 5G with a decent SS ideal for benching only.
