    Covering edge of sheetmetal?

Not too sure where to ask this - so I will try here. I have cut out some openings in a case, now I want to cover the cut edge of the sheet metal with some type of rubber/plastic U shaped excrusion to give a more finished look. Where do I look for this?

I used door edging from Advance Auto, but you could always go with this, this, or this.

Hey there... this kind of goes with what I was wondering about

Go to the rather famous McMaster Carr website and search (upper left) for

    "Edge Trim"

    http://www.mcmaster.com/

Which do you think would be best to use?

    I'm thinking Neoprene in # 8 style

Edit....hey theres a 8-Piece SBR Rubber Edge Trim Assortment for 4$ ... that'd be a good one to get

    That would look great, IMO.

Great resource! Even offers colors other than black, chrome or gold. Not what I've been looking for, but still adds options!

Fantastic thread. I was just trying to find the perfect material to accomplish something similar, and this was of great help. I already know of MCMASTER.COM - but the thought hadn't crossed my mind! GREAT stuff guys.
