ASUS Striker Extreme BIOS Alpha 1501 support yorkfield but not change multiplier over 9x at this time! only FSB 400 mhz overclock, not boot the system over 1600 in my test! We hope the 1502 or later!

TEST STABLE AT 8.5X MULTIPLIER AND 1600 FSB!

with N/2 ratio enabled!



TEST 2 STABLE AT 9X MULTIPLIER AND 1600 FSB!


BUT MULTIPLIER unfortunately I CONFIRM IS LOCKED IN THIS ALPHA!!!

Thanks for the test!

I would not call it a breakthrough, but I think this is a good start. I hope the BIOS will mature a bit and the final release version will be able to overclock and run a Yorkfield stable. And I hope they will be acceptable for running an old CPU like my E6600!
