I'm not a NV fanboy, but I was an ATI fanboy definitively. I hated NV so much, after 3dfx-demise... But then I won a Geforce 4 Ti 4600 ~ 1 month after release --> bighead's status symbol and much better than the Radeon 8500 LE Since then I wasn't a fanboy further

Sorry my memory is spotty. My favorite video card of all time has to be the Monster 3D from 3dfx. I don't think I have seen the jump in visuals I had with the Monster3d playing MechWarrior 2. Although the Monster was a 3D accelerator. I can't remember what the original video card was in my 100mhz system.

new card next month (allocating $400 from my profit sharing (which should be about $2K)for upgrade) will be either a 8800GT or a 3870 depending on how much money I have left after buying a 500GB hd and replacing my E4300 with a E6750. Will be selling the CPU and X1950 on ebay. And not to get off subject, but I hope my DS3 can OC an E6750 cause it (the DS3) definately does NOT like Allendale cpu's. wish me luck on my E6750, Im hopinh to get a good 3.6-3.8 for 24/7 useage. Not sure about my DS3 rev3.3 though.
