What to do with 200+ intel stock coolers?

EDIT: Pic's added on page 2

    Hi.

Some time ago, i bought 200+ intel stock coolers for approx. the price of a case of beer @ any country in the world (except maybe sweden and iceland).

So, they have been sitting in my basement all this time. Now and then, i have been thinking about what i should do with them.

As time went by, i realized, that maybe i should have kept the money, and bought myself a case of beer instead.

Now here i am, asking all of you splendid modders out there:

"What in the name of a holy cows a**hole am i gonna do with 200+ intel stock coolers"???

ANY ideas are welcome, lame as can be

    Cheers, Mads321

one question. Why the hell did you buy 200 stock intel coolers

I dunno, sell them on ebay for like $3 plus shipping a piece? There's always going to be someone that broke their mounting mechanism or something of the sort that won't want to pay a lot of money for a new hsf

Trade it them in bundles of 10 to other geeks for amd heatpipe coolers? Those are actually pretty decent at cooling, then you could mount them on say a nb or gfx card, its been done plenty of times

    Make them into sex toys?

Throw them at your wife/gf whenever you get mad at her (probably a bad idea though)?

Build a case out of them like thermalright's heatpipe case?

Throw them at a local beer shop's manager until they give you 2 cases of beer?

Hit yourself in the head with them until you realize why you bought 200 crappy coolers?

sell them to buy "goods" off the random gay hobo on a shady corner whose prices are
    [beerfest]
    $1 to look at it
    $2 to touch it
$3 to watch me touch it
$5 to touch it while I touch my toes
$6 to touch it while I touch your toes
    $10 for a bj
    $12 for an hj
    $15 for a zj
    [/beerfest]

    I recommend the zj

They cost a case of beer.
Did you drink a case of beer before you ordered?

If they are Core 2 heatsinks with the copper core then knock out the copper core and try to sell the copper and aluminum for scrap. I imagine you've got a couple dozen pounds of copper and aluminum, worth something.

Well i must say.... Some pretty far out ideas so far. Might acually end up doing one of thoose things

I'd say somewhere between 5-10% of them are copper-core. Rest is pure aluminium.

I'd love to ship some of em to peeps, but i really don't think it would be worth the cost for any part.

The best idea i had myself, was to drill out the cores on a bunch of em, and then maybe superglue them together or something. Would make a pretty unique resevoir/watercooling tank.
That idea (along with basicly all other ideas i've had about them), would include me going out buying a load of hardware (ie. drills, weldingdevices etc.).

Should any danish people with access to a machineshop or something stuble upon this tread, well you should PM me, if you would have any interest in making something with the coolers.

btw, i bought the coolers 2+ years ago, when they actually had some value

I think you should post a thread in alt.personals offering the items as dowry for a new bride and see if you strike up any interesting conversations.

Aluminum might be very expensive in some locales, this might be crazy enough to work.

Shortened form of a "Zzzz Job" (pronounced "Zee Job".)
Oral sex performed on a man while he's asleep.

Ideally: while he's experiencing morning wood and resulting in his being roused from sleep.

    See also: morning head.

Note: The "ZJ" version was made famous by the (excellent) show beerfest

Q: What are you so ing happy about?
A: My baby's momma gave me a ZJ this morning! :-D
    Q: Did she swallow?
A: yeah she swallowed; She knows not to leave a big white stain on my sheets.

    lol...

i need to buy a new keyboard. really ed this one up when i got mad playing cs just now. half the keys require so much effort to press now

Sell to Thermalright. Should be enough aluminum for at least, like, three Ultra-120s?

Yer I'd probably just scrap them. I definatly think you'd have been better off with the case of beer. But even taking into account perhaps they were worth something, why the heck would you buy 200 of the things lol.

Ask some medium-sized stores. I kind of doubt that they'll accept, but it's worth asking if they're interested in them. They could bundle them with oem procs or something.
