But be sure if that your 6 year old mouse&keyboard combo's power supplie dies, Micro$oft will not send you the newest combo to make you happy.

I love my X-530, one of the best buys I've ever done. Didn't think I could get such sound quality for that budget and I wanted as good sound quality as possible for as little cash as possible and then this is great as it lacks of features etc. which doesn't concern me. Crystal clear treble with better subwoofer sound that expected for such small drive. But it sucks now when I moved into a dorm I can't really turn up the bass at all so I use headphones now.

I pray this won't happen, Logitech is my fav mice & computer speaker manufacturer.

Meh, I don't like the direction Logitech has been heading in over the past 7 years, myself.

I'm actually surprised by this, as M$ has been in bed with Razer for a while now.

I'd think they just merge their lines. Microsoft may just ditch their tech and just carry on with Logitech's.

Kinda Really all they did was pay Razer some money to make some products with the Microsoft name on it. When they didn't sell worth a crap and the other Razer products without the Microsoft name on them sold tremendously more, now they are looking in other directions. Cause it was obvious Razer consumers didnt give a crap about Microsoft.

I would have expected Microsoft to acquire Razer, not Logitech...

I loved my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0... It lasted a good five or six years before the age caught up with it. It still works but has intermittent connection issues.

Ehm, probably a shoddy cable with insulating laquer that over time, ground away and now you occasionally short the mouse out. Try replacing the cable, or cutting away the section that's been worn and re-contacting it.
