    OCing athlonX2 BE-2300

i have an athlon X2 BE-2300 it's currently OCed to 2.02 (stock is 1.9ghz). so far i've only raised the core speed from 200mhz to 213mhz. this is as high as the core speed will go without raising the multiplier or vcore. i can't raise the multiplier in the bios, so does this mean it has a locked multiplier or is it because my mobo doesn't support it? anyone else OCed one of these before? and if so, what are its general potentials? this is basically another brisbane core that is a lower power consumption version.

No higher multipliers for this CPU. Only unlocked AM2 CPU is so far B(lack)E(dition) X2 5000+.

Only way to OC your CPU higher is to increase HTT further. Most should go up to 250-300HTT resulting in 2.4-2.9GHz depending on cooling and your BIOS settings. Make sure that you lower memory divider in BIOS before increasing HTT too high, otherwise you will be limited by max. memory clock.
    Good luck
