i dont think that monster is meant to be in a case hahaha
did i just say that? i was just thinking aloud
like i said in my closed thread but when it gets released the only case that will accept it are the new ArmorXT cases from thermaltake. they have 10pci slots :S id like a TJ10 with 10pci and i'm sold

Mhm, the two 24pin ATX Connectors, will an redundant PSU Setup work or is it only for more power?
2 ATX connecters? Hmm interesting if you can just use 600w power supplies (which most of us will have) or if you actually need to go out and buy a killer big humoungus power supply.
I like the idea with the water/DI/L2n pot, that looks good, and should be easy to use. The other looks restrictive as, you would have to have it as a second loop.
Looks like there is some tasty cards coming up!
The first card is the upcoming quantum-force X48-card?
Will there be any MB's for quad crossfire soon, maybe the large MB is this?

why do i have a feeling this one could go very wrong very easily? one heat pipe not tested and.... yer it just doesn't seem good to me, nice idea but i wouldn't trust it, as the boards will defo be batched tested.

chunky tube mosfet cooling.
looks sort of convincing

Wires are in right spot for TEC. Woot now wont have to make a new bracket for my nb tec block.
If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.
I smell vaporware, as much as I'd like to believe otherwise :\

I really do not like how those barbs are on the outside of the case. Doesn't make any sense imo. Tubing is inside the case, so water goes outside, into the mobo barbs, back inside to cool chipsets, etc. then back outside for the outlet, then back inside to cool the rest of your stuff unless you have external rad/res. Seems like a very long useless path for the water to go through however I really like the first mobo. As for the 4x PCI-e, I think dual SLI/XFire is enough lol
EDIT: Just noticed wires leading off of the chipset. Pelt on a northbridge anyone?! xD
Great stuff
will try to make it over to CP
~
Eh I like the barb placement, not a to be cased sorta mobo to begin with. Hell they might as well ship it preinsulated
Well you enjoy it yourself!Originally Posted by LardArse

Lol definately seems more like the type of mobo you have on a test bench. Its HUGE. Looks wicked awsome though. The pelt and liquid on the chips proves that.
I mean imagine the power requirements to make this thing work, 2X atx connecters, so it's gonna be hard to cool mosfet/PWM region, then a northbridge thats going be getting hammered (as if they arn't already) and now a south bridge thats going to have the biggest load I've ever seen. I mean what would everyone (who doesn't like it) rather, a big lollercoaster of uselessness?>
those arent heatpipes, its waterpipes, and im sure they would get tested with high pressure.
well there is at least one exisiting and working sample...thats more than what other vaporware makers managed to do
so there is SOME chance that this will make it to production...
hmmm. could it be that the board having those watercooling blocks on it could be just a prototype or something like that..
