    Clawhammer Overclock.. Safe?

    Hi!
    My sistem is:

    A64 3000+ Clawhammer 2.0@2.4 Ghz
    1gb DDR400 Samsung memos
    Asus K8V-X Se

I´m running my memos @ 200mhz, and my HTT is at 960Mhz (4*240).
My Vcore is set to 1.475v, but cpu-z shows 1.512v (mobo problem i guess).

My temps, with speedfan, after 2 hours running orthos, is:

    System: 46º
    CPU: 57º
    AUX: 56º
    Core: 62º

Its that high? Or it is safe to use everyday?

    Thanks Guys!

Really think it's OK? I thought the CPU temp was a bit high...I tried to keep the 939's on air under 50c... but if it's 24 hours stable it's stable...

    you got alotta room left.

it read higher voltage cuz bios is not always perfect.
i think you got about 2.7ghz with 1.65+v i had an old claw that ran 2601 @ 1.9v's it took 1.6488 v's for 2448 mhz, so i think you have alotta room.

edit - yea try to keep cpu core under 50 or at 50. maybe get a new cooler?

claws take some volts to get up higher currently i have my 3400+ with a very mild oc (215x11=2365) but took 1.568v to get it there where my 3000+ newcastle only needed 1.54v to get to 2.4ghz, but the clawhammer scores better in every bench @2.365ghz than my newcastle did @2.5ghz gotta love that 1mb of cache.

if your going to get a new cooler its really cheap to pick up a gemini II (they have been down from $0-$10 (AMIR) on newegg
