Best ram to go with IC7-G?

I'm getting a 2.4C and IC7-G very soon and need to know what ram would be best to get with it? Pretty much my only options are any OCZ ram up to 2x256 3700 gold (maybe 4000 gold), Corsair up to the same price, or a couple sticks of Twinmos w/ch-5? This is gonna be for gaming and some benching. I'd like to try and get to at least 275fsb if possible. Gotta beat the performance of my nf7-s and barton 3000+ (10.5x225).

i woudl say the ocz el gold pc3700 ram with the ic7 but i had amjor probs with mine as did a few others...but then others had no probs wotsoever with teh ram....at the mo im using a 1gb kit of pc4000 gold ram which was sent to me by ocz and it works like a dream altho timings arent great on it so mem bandwidth suffers a bit...but at least im hitting 3.3ghz which is wot i wanted int eh first place....am waiting for the max3 board to come out and if thats a good one then i might ditch my ic7-g max2 board and get that with some pc3700 el gold ram....and sell my current setup...

Your memory bandwidth only sufferes if your not running 1:1.

I can run 270+fsb 1:1 and my sandra benches are pretty sick..Radelon just benched at 285fsb 1:1 and his benches are just awesome.

If your running 5:4 your wasting the memory, you can do that with pc2700.

Also If the problem is that the IC7 won't clock over 255fsb you guys need to go pester Abit to give you a quick fix...The asus boards clock awesome 1:1 and the IC7 should do also.
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

so how about reply to my topic bigtoe? I'd like to here your opinion . Which ocz ram will give me the highest fsb in the ic7-g at the 2.8v limit with my new 2.4C? Also which would you say will give me the best gaming speeds? I'm open to any of the ram you sell, not just the gold.

yeh i know bigtoe...i have it running on the 5:4 divider at 275fsb which equates to 3.3ghz easily..so am happy with that...sandra gives me a memory bandwidth of 5200mb/sec...i have timings at 2.5, 4, 4, 7....and thats as tight as the pc4000 will go on my ic7....i do hope abit sort out a fix for the wall at 255fsb at the 1:1 divider..if not then im selling the board and perhaps get the asus p4c800 deluxe-e or the ic7 max3 board whenever that shows it head...
