    Smile WC: general rant

ok i got questions, and i know everyone else gots questions too. feel free to ask them here if you want.

heres a few of my questions

    1. ek supreme? or Dtek w/ quad nozzle? price is about a 3 dollar difference
and i kinda of want to try the EK, from the review it seems pretty good
restrictive yes but temps are better then a standard fuzion. this is for
another build ill be doing soon

    2. has anyone ever try testing weather or not there is a difference between
pulling or pushing liquid through a rad, there is going to be a pressure drop
after passing through a rad but would there a difference if the liquid was pull or vice versa .

i was thinking that of liquid was pulled through it the liquid would be taking
its sweet time flowing through the rad, as where if it were pushed it would
be forced half way through. iono just ranting lol

    3. largest benefit difference between the MCP355 w/ top and MCP655 Vario?
i know the head space is a lot higher on the 355, what benefit will i get
from that in a CPU loop.

all probably easily answered and could be found by doing a search, i wish
we could compile everything in to a simple post lol just for reference, b/c
i know everyone's got the same questions.

    thats all from me.

    thanks in advanced

The way I view the choice between the EK Supreme, and the D-tek is this:
Both are good blocks, but the EK does offer a tad more resistance in the loop than the D-tek. How many blocks will be in your loop total? How strong is the pump you plan on running? How many loops do you plan on running in your system.

If your block count is low, and you are running a strong pump, I think both blocks would work fine. If your favorite is the EK Supreme, go for it as long as you have good flow.

I will only be cooling the CPU, NB, and 1 GPU in my 1 loop system. I think I could have selected the EK or the D-tek withought any major flow problems. If I were to add two MOSFET blocks, SB block, or second GPU, I would select the D-tek for sure then, providing I was still going with one loop.

I did buy the D-tek, but the EK was not out then so I never had to make that decision.

    Closed loop, makes no difference.
