need some advice on upgrades

i need some adivce on some upgrades[ ram, cpu] i need for my pc system. i currently have a e6600 running @ 3.6 ghz. im looking to upgrade my cpu to the latest intel chipset [ i think they are e8*** series] but i have no idea what to get [ got a 450 budget for cpu alone]. im also looking to change my ram for something better [DDR2], need quicker ram what is the best ram for this chipset?



my system is:
asus P5K-E
e6600
watercooling system
ocz platinum ddr2800
thermaltake toughpower 750W

affter that u dont really need a new board unless u want to go for xfire then u will want an x38, for cpu i would advise waiting until the q9550 comes out in march

q9550 ? what is that? is that the latest quad core cpu?
the timings are a bit high . can you recommend one with 4-4-4 timings or lower

its a 45NM quad that will start with 8.5x333 or 9x333, but if u have good liquid the 45nm wont really help since they are getting stooped by architecture and now heat from what ive seen

im waiting for teh next stepping the c0 seams to have temp problems and dosnt clock much higher than the g0 65nm
