also, why dont you get a samsung f1 drive? i heard they were faster
nothing wrong with ip35-e but there are other options that i fancy, such as the http://clubit.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A4854023

one question tho, why are you getting these parts at the moment? i mean, i would wait to dish out money because its not as if you have a horrible computer at the moment, do you have any particular game you want to play RIGHT now?

Well that's the thing, I really could wait to get stuff, but for the first time I have money I can spend willingly

My PSU is a Rosewill, and while not bad I am in the need for a modular psu for my case, so might as well get a good one.

I want to be ready for penryn's so I would like to get a P35 board, but then again maybe the P45's are too close.

Video card is what would really improve my system the most, but with 3870 and gt prices so high right now I want to wait.

I'll probably just end up getting the PSU and Hard Drive within the next month and see what pans out in February for the rest.

    I don't do god and I don't do christmas.

Last year I got a gift because my Mother was still alive, and she never took me seriously when I told her christmas = consumermas = bollox. Everyone else I know, knows not to send me cards or gifts.

No I am not a miserable bstd, I give love to those I care for all year round. Not just one day a year. I have a child (not so much a child any more) whom I give a gift to for the new year.

Eh, neither do I, but it's a good time of year to sit down and indulge in the holidays (which we get anyways from school and work due to gov. law) - so I just divest the holiday of all the religious garbage and take it as a time to enjoy some relaxing with my family.

Absolutely, I may not exchange gifts or cards with friends but we certainly get together have fun, and take advantage of what free time we get. I tend to eat things I don't normally eat, and lace my coffees with Baileys. So I suppose it is a kind of special time. It's the commercial and religious aspects of xmas I avoid.
