Heres 3500mhz @stock Board Voltage minus a little more Vcore added and some Vdimm also a screen shot taken 6hrs into prime to show temps of Board under full load

EDIT: Although this is completely Stable at these Bios settings as you can see I find that once you Reach around 350FSB you will want to Increase you NB Voltage , PCI-E -NB voltage Nb-HT voltage just by one notch each and it seems to reduce the Latency associated with Pages on the Internet not loading as Fast as they should as they do at 345FSB at my config.

Just so you guys know there are issues with the 12/11/07 Official Bios at least on my end I would get erratic behavior and Random C1 Error in Post for no Apparent reason so my advice at this point is if you get the board and are going to be running Dual Core the 11/22/07 Bios by Far is the Most stable out of the lot!

I encounter massive warm start problems with my DFI. Does anyone else have this? Have to press reset button several times to bring the board back to life.

But the setting i chose are absolutely stable for several hours of gaming and Prime. Can it be the CnQ function that is not yet correct implemented? But for every day use i don't want to turn this feature off. Hope the new CnQ 2.0 function will fixed soon.

Was the same with the version the board shipped (2007/11/22).

It isn't the CnQ feature. Turned it off and the same happened. Need 5-10 trials to make it boot but then the system ist stable.

I found out, that @ stock bios settings i have no restart problems. DFI = anti OC board ???

Geez, I sure hope the DFI 790 board isn't showing signs of boot troubles like my Ultra-D.

This thing will run hard for days on end, but if I change a VCard- No boot for awhile without messing/clearing etc..- psu, change ram= same behavior....
And it's been like this since day 1, and I see from posts on the net, that I am far from alone.
Please tell me this isn't happening again.
    Zen2 Has brought AMD back!

@ speedlimiter: Whenever i build new rigs ive found that reseating the ram, cards and power connections a few times goes a long way.

For 2 days? Or for Today?

Either way, it's a bit weird even having to do it for more than a lil while.

Flashed the BIOS according your instructions 5 minutes ago (writing with my crappy notebook). Will leave on CMOS clear jumper for 30 minutes.

    The test tomorrow is:

    1h gaming
    reboot
    1h encoding
    reboot
    1h surfing
    reboot
    etc.

All @ stock setting with BIOS @ optimizes default (only turned floppy, ide channels and azalia audio off (have a Xfi)).

    Wish me luck

Not really, IMO you should be able to see issues/differences fairly quick.

I agree with resetting to defaults after flash/clear, but after that, you should be able to start testing again.

I've never encountered a situation that needed a long time at defaults after a flash, I mean the bios was cleared, and if the flash worked, setting to defaults, and then going up from there, should show differences IF the problem was bios related.

Maybe I'm missing something in the wording BE, I dunno.

He mentioned that when above stock settings, that he had warm boot problems, so IF it was bios related, the problem was either fixed, or it wasn't I would think.

This isn't a bash, I just don't understand why he would leave it at Optimized defaults after the flash, when his problem isn't at default- it's when he's in a Non-Default scenario.
