unlocked HD3850 512mb bios

Sorry for the UP! but i got a PowerColor HD 3850 OC edition with a fancy cooler, but i'm having the locked issues if i go to 862MHz i got a "corrupted" screen or just a black screen.

Can anyone mod the BIOS? or anyone has a modded BIOS already? (i read over 38 pages in 3 threads here and couldnt find one for this card, can't flash other BIOS since i got it for a review).

Version 73 and 76 are "unlocked" EDIT - to clarify, versions 73 and later are unlocked.

Just save your original BIOS before flashing a new one.

I just tried all of the ones with 670 / 830 clocks on my Triplex card until I found ones that were unlocked. Sadly, none of them work properly on my card - i.e. I get artifacts from the memory at stock clocks. They must be using different timings on the Triplex card.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this:

1) Possible to "unlock" the original BIOS?

2) Possible to adjust the memory timings of a "fixed" BIOS?

Is version 77 also unlocked?

Yes. I have found 73 and later is unlocked. I think some 71 is also unlocked, although not all from my experience.

I have given up trying to find a BIOS for this card that will allow 860+ without screwing up the memory. I e-mailed Triplex, but no reply.
