Need opinion on mobo. XFX vs EVGA?

    Hey guys,

Is there a difference in quality between these two boards?? Which one would you choose?

    http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...16643(ME).aspx

    http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...16619(ME).aspx

It looks like it's just the name that is different...however quality wise?

    Thank you.

They're both only as strong as their weakest link.

    (the chipset is flaky)

    I've RMA'd 3 different 680i boards for failures.

EVGA has great customer service at least

I can't comment on the quality difference between the two boards, but I can tell you that I'm pretty impressed with the support of EVGA. From their forums, to their step-up program, they seem to have their support act together more so than other large manufacturers, such as ASUS.

Well...neither evga or xfx make the board so, go for who you like as far as warranty and support go. xfx pwnz evga on warranty...support is comparable.

It seems step-up only applies to graphic cards? At the very least, they won't over step-up from 680i to 780i from what the reps has said in their evga forums.
