do you mean as a mhz wall?

also on a side note. i have done the ocp mod on my 3850 works great. but now i cant even get a 1026mhz run. cause my mosfets are getting ragging hot even with copper sinks super glued to them AND a 120mm fan. i cant even touch the sink for more then a second when im benching. there are contact points for some more caps that the 3870s have and the 3850s don't. so i might just have to add the caps on the contacts tonight and see.. but any info on helping those mosfets i would LOVE YOU!

Just ridicules these cards can only do 1200mhz with so many mods. I've seen 2900xt's dry ice cooled @ 1200mhz core. I expected more from these cards, especially because there 55nm instead of 80nm.

double strapping the mosfets might get some more (basically take identical mosfets and attach them in parallel).

So, no ocp needed, when going over 1100MHz?

AWESOME How did all those mods effect overclocking? I'm interested how much the memory caps helped for example.
