    Definitiely get the E2140!! They're OCing like mad and single core is pretty much dead now.

    ya i saw that earlier. but honestly he will never use 4GB. he has been running with 384MB for years and hasnt really needed any more than that. 2GB will surely last him.

    if you could pick up a cheap 3850...but availability issues. (160ish)
    a little value powerhouse.
    & 2gigs ddr2 at $55..that surprised me....& thats for ballistix aswell....
    you could easily put in an x1950pro under 500 total.

    i dont need a good video card. i think that i forgot to mention that this is for my dad.
    everything else i have. im just replacing the tower. i have an 80gb hitachi sataII that i have sitting around for it too.
