Thumbs down EVGA 680i A1 will not post

Go figure, after installing this board on the CHANCE that it would be a credible unit in comparison to there previous model, the A1 version with the latest bios would not show proper default multipliers for my Q6600 and for a short period of time, one of the onboard fan controllers would not work. Took a nap and did it again but this time it will not post - no beep - no error indication other than two -- on the boards digital read out. What a POS ...took the battery out, reset a few times and still no luck. At least the fan controller starting working again.

I would like to dedicate this thread to anyone who has issues with this board - only the problems please.

    BTW, the vdroop is horendous!!!

Too bad there's no alternative. Can you provide the link to the mod?

    Update!!

I took out my Intel Q6600GO and installed it in another board and it works perfectley.
    I installed a Celeron D 320 3.06ghz processor and it posts perfectly.

    RMA outta here!!!.

I'll call EVGA and try to get to the bottom of this.
