Im thinking about a 50% overhaul of my rig come this winter - water, 8800GT, new motherboard and possibly Penryn dual core.

If I get water, I might need one of those RAM coolers depending on how well they cool. Are they aluminum?

Fantastic looking block - simple, yet performs beautifully. Awesome design on both the RAMsinks and block.

i pm'ed you about price on the heat sinks, they are very nice...

its funny that a garage guy an make such a simple solution so quickly and companies that do this for a living make things expensive, ugly, and complicated...

Great solution, similar to the HD3870 ramsinks. I would buy one if I wanted but I already own a EK FC8800. Maybe for the next card upgrade

These wouldn't work on the 8800 GTS 640mb right??? Or would they?

If so I'll take a set... Thanx!

    8800 Gt

Well ................nice mod, have PM;d you for a price ASAP............
Getting off the track a little. I have had this card for about a month now and........well have probs
    Maybe someone could help
8800GT wont run 3dmark06 and 05, 03 is OK in XP sp2, XP 64 corp, or vista 64 and 32
all dx up to date also tried with dx supplied with card, no success.
in Xp I get a message
    D3DERR_DEVICELOST
    IDIRECT3DDEVICE9

Also, card runs damn hot, fan on 100% all the time, case open and a pedestal fan blowing in side (during day), idle is 53-58, in game about 78-84, only take around 10 mins to get hot, all temps at default clock settings, worse if overclocked, best yet is 648/1053

And last of all, in game eg COD4 stalker, crysis, mouse and keyboard go crazy IE the controls, all this has happened since 8800GT installed

All the above were done with clean install and format each time

    H...................E..................L.......... ...........P

Fantastic workmanship, It all looks better than any company can do IMHO.

I just got my 8800GT this week and was going to install my block today, but I think I'll wait for a answer from my PM.............

Yeah, I saw those a couple days ago. I actually designed mine before I saw the 3870 sinks, so I guess what I had come up with was just the logical way to do it.

Beautiful work man, I'm debating between a full cover block or something like this along with a GPU only block. Oh how I wish I had a CNC machine in my basement
