Talking New Crysis settings unlocked (unbelivable version)

Seems that Crytek has some aces down their sleeve and cut off some other options in the singleplayer demo.
Some modders played with the map in sandbox mode and here is what they done

Before you complain about lag, think about Jesus. He lagged three days before respawning.

The second picture looks phenomenal! Really starting to look like those rendered trailers you always think "Damn, I wish the actual game looked that good!".

Too bad about the framerates, though. And do the ~950MB figures I see denote the texture sizes? Meaning nearly 1GB of VRAM is being used up here?

As of yet to get the game to run and look great at the same time is still a long while down the road unfortunately.

uhh you fail to notice that that image is rendered at 16x AA... chances are texture sizes are a bit more manageable.

Nope, but that doesn't automatically make it 16x... or at least I don't think it does.

    Simply...beautiful...
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."
